In the process, Mitchell passed LeBron James on an all-time NBA record list.

First, Mitchell's final stats:
35 points
7 rebounds
9 assists
1 steal
11-22 FG
5-12 3FG
8-8 FT
The feat: games with 35-plus points and 5-plus 3s.
Mitchell now has more of those than James, according to Real Sports.
The key here is those 3-pointers. James is the NBA's all-time leading scorer, but he does a lot of his work inside the arc.

Mitchell, on the other hand, lets it fly from 3-point range early and often in most games he plays.

But for Mitchell to pass James in anything is still a cool basketball feat, and Donovan will keep doing what he can to make the Cleveland fans proud.
